This September the Dufry Group opens the doors of the latest new generation store at London Heathrow Terminal 3. The new concept store features extensive use of digital tools to offer a more personalised shopping experience through digital communication. To celebrate the launch of this new innovative store at Heathrow, limited edition bottles of the rare The Glenlivet Single Cask edition will be available to purchase by all travellers.

Set to be a coveted collectors’ item, there are only 222 bottles of this definitive Speyside Single Malt available and these will be sold in main World Duty Free stores and World of Whiskies stores at all Heathrow terminals. Hand selected from an individual first fill American Oak cask by The Glenlivet’s expert team of craftsmen, the Single Cask Edition is a tribute to The Glenlivet’s rich heritage and wealth of expertise. No two casks are ever the same and the result is a rare and distinctive tasting experience.

Matured for 25 years before being bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration, the American Oak Barrel Single Cask Edition captures the incredibly rich and distinct flavour of the cask itself, locking in its character and resulting in aromas of warming ginger spice and soft poached pears in vanilla cream and tasting notes of sweet orchard fruit flavours, peaches in golden syrup, balanced perfectly with juicy blackcurrants and a delicate oaky finish.

Each Single Cask Edition is individually numbered and presented in a hand- crafted wooden box to echo the craftsmanship that goes into the whisky within.
