Avolta’s HMSHost Expands Food and Beverage Partnership with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport
Under a newly awarded contract extension, the restaurateur will continue to operate at MKE through 2031 and bring new dining options to the terminal — including the airport’s first Dunkin’ locations.
Global restaurateur HMSHost, part of Avolta and a world leader in creating dining for travel venues, has expanded its longstanding partnership with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) for two additional years. Under the newly awarded food and beverage contract extension announced today, HMSHost will continue to operate its existing dining venues through 2031 while further enhancing the passenger experience by bringing new food and beverage options to Milwaukee’s hometown airport.
Throughout its time operating at MKE, HMSHost has helped transform the bustling concourses into culinary destinations. From national chains like Starbucks and Chili’s to local favorites Cousins Subs, Garden District Kitchen and Bar, and Miller Brewhouse, HMSHost has crafted a food and beverage concessions program that offers travelers a variety of sought-after dining experiences while showcasing the flavor of Milwaukee. HMSHost currently operates 10 dining venues at MKE as a joint venture with Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) partners Limitless Brands and Newburns Management Group.
Adding to its impressive array of dining choices at MKE, HMSHost recently introduced America’s favorite coffee — Dunkin’ — to the airport. Located in Concourse D, near Gate D42, the new Dunkin’ is the first of two that will open at MKE. HMSHost plans to unveil a second location in Concourse C, near Gate C14, later this year.
“HMSHost is pleased to continue to grow our valued partnership with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and we can’t think of a better way to continue this exciting journey together than by bringing not one, but two Dunkin’ locations to the terminal. We have no doubt that passengers will love this evolution of the food and beverage options,” said HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Stephen Douglas. “We look forward to continued collaboration that will further enhance this dynamic airport’s concessions offerings as we deliver on our promise to make every journey as rewarding as the destination for travelers.”
