Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL) and its Journey For Good Foundation gave $950,000 to 39 charities last fall, raising their total charitable donations in 2024 to nearly $1.5 million. Now, with the first of three planned donations in 2025, Avolta has given over $450,000 to support 20 more local groups. As communities face hard times the Foundation stays focused on helping those in greatest need.
“This has been a difficult start to the year for many, especially those affected by the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area. We are proud of the positive impact Journey For Good Foundation continues to make in so many communities across North America in collaboration with our charity partners who are on the front lines of serving the most vulnerable individuals and families, providing essential resources, opportunities, and hope,” said Journey For Good Foundation President Paul Mamalian.
“Our work is made possible by the incredible commitment of Avolta team members and partners across North America, who work tirelessly to uplift their communities through sustainable practices, volunteerism, and charitable giving.”
The Foundation backs local projects that improve lives and help communities grow stronger. These include feeding programs, safe housing, job training, and support for students. It also helps veterans and their families with food, shelter, healthcare, and work opportunities. The money comes from travelers shopping at Avolta’s Dufry, HMSHost and Hudson stores in the U.S. and Canada, along with donations from Avolta team members.
At checkout, travelers can choose to round up their purchases, turning spare change into meaningful change. These small acts of kindness have a powerful impact, bringing hope, dignity, and support to individuals and families facing poverty and homelessness.
