Avolta opens Pizza Hut at KL International Airport, Kuala Lumpur
Avolta, leading global travel experience player, announces the opening of its newest Pizza Hut, located at KL International Airport (KLIA) in Kuala Lumpur. The opening underscores Avolta’s ongoing commitment to growth and innovation in the Asia Pacific markets, and boosts Avolta’s presence in Malaysia to 21 outlets.
The new Pizza Hut outlet is situated at KLIA’s Terminal 2 – known for its role as the bustling hub for low-cost airlines such as AirAsia and Scoot, connecting passengers to global destinations – in the ‘Urban Food Court’. The Urban Food Court is an airside, multi-concept area with seating for 500 passengers in a strategic location due to its high passenger flow, now offering travelers the comfort of Pizza Hut's renowned cuisine whether they are locals embarking on international adventures, or visitors from afar.
The new restaurant represents Avolta’s fourth Pizza Hut establishment in the Asia Pacific region and is a tasty addition to our diverse portfolio of food service brands at the terminal, including Burger King, Ahh Yum – serving casual authentic Malaysian food, FRESH – a health food and juice bar, and Taste of India – a casual dining area offering Indian cuisine.
"This expansion brings this much-loved pizza closer to travelers and airport staff alike. We are excited to bring Pizza Hut's signature flavors to one of the most dynamic transportation hubs in Asia and we thank our longstanding partners at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) for the continued trust as we celebrate 26 years of collaboration and a decade of presence in Terminal 2 since 2014. We also thank our partners at YUM! Brands for helping us to bring yet another great travel experience to Malaysia.” comments David Mackay, Avolta’s Managing Director South East Asia and Oceania.
