Avolta Earns EDGE Certification: Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL), leading global travel retail and F&B player, is proud to announce its award of the prestigious EDGE Assess Certification, a globally recognized standard for assessing and ensuring an inclusive workplace.
The EDGE certification applies to Avolta’s operations in Switzerland, the United States, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands, covering nearly 45% of its global workforce – or 35,000 full-time team members. The certification highlights Avolta’s advancements in the promotion of balanced gender representation across all levels of the organization, equitable pay practices, strong frameworks for equal opportunities in career progression and the establishment of a culture of inclusion where every team member can thrive. The company is committed to expanding its EDGE certification to encompass 80% of its global workforce by November 2025.
“At Avolta, fostering an equitable and inclusive work environment is a responsibility we embrace. Achieving EDGE certification places us among just 13 companies in Switzerland to hold this distinction, and we are especially proud to be the only company in our industry globally to achieve it.” said Xavier Rossinyol, CEO of Avolta. “This recognition reaffirms our leadership in shaping the best future for our industry, and we remain committed to pushing boundaries, driving change, and continuously improving.”
This certification stems from one of Avolta’s brand principles, Inclusive, reflecting the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, and advancing gender equity as part of its ESG pillar of the Destination 2027 strategy.
