Dufry wins new concession contract at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport

Dufry has been awarded a new concession contract to operate two new duty free stores at Toulouse-Blagnac International Airport, due to open in April 2018. The contract is for 5 years and includes a new walk-through duty free store as well as a last-minute duty free shop, with a total commercial area of more than 1800 m². The new stores are part of the airport's plans to offer passengers the services of a large international airport, adapted to increases in traffic, including a complete refurbishment and extension of the airport's commercial area, and enlargement of the current terminal.

HNA closes previously announced transaction to buy Dufry shares

Dufry has been informed by HNA Group that HNA Group has closed the acquisition of the 16.2% of Dufry shares formerly held by GIC and Temasek, a transaction which had been announced on 26 April 2017.

Introducing Dufry Cruise Services and launching operations on the Norwegian Joy in China

In line with its strategy to further expand its presence in the cruise ship business, Dufry has created the Dufry Cruise Services center of excellence based in Miami. Moreover, Dufry just started operations on board of the Joy, a vessel of the Norwegian Cruise Lines, especially built for and customized to the Chinese cruise market.

Dufry Subsidiary Hudson Group Opens Six New Stores at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas

Hudson Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dufry AG, today announced six new stores at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The stores total 14,500 sq. ft (1,347 m²) of commercial space and offer travelers high-end luxury goods such as watches, timepieces and jewelry as well as travel essentials, electronics, wine, spirits and apparel.

Dufry successfully extended its contracts in Brasília and Natal, for 10 years and adds further retail space

Dufry successfully extended for additional 10 years, until 2033, its contracts with Inframerica Group for its duty-free and duty-paid operations at Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport in Brasília and São Gonçalo do Amarante International Airport in Natal. Based on the new contracts, Dufry will operate close 2,200 sqm of duty-free and 5,300 sqm of duty-paid space at the airports, totaling almost 7,500 sqm.

Dufry's subsidiary Hudson Group Wins Major Concession Contract at Raleigh-Durham International Airport for seven New Specialty Retail, Travel Essential, and Duty Free Stores

Hudson Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dufry AG, and its partner Shaw Foods, today announced it was awarded seven new specialty retail, travel essentials and duty-free stores for a total space close to 6,400 sq. ft. (600 sqm) at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Hudson Group created the winning bids with an eclectic mix of leading national and local brands, including: Hudson, Ink by Hudson, City Market News, Raleigh-Durham Duty Free, Vineyard Vines, 5^th & Sunset, and Tech On the Go.

Dufry's subsidiary Hudson Group Extends Duty Free & Duty Paid Contract at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport Contract includes over 18,000 square feet in retail space

Hudson Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dufry AG, in partnership with Hudson Las Vegas JV and The Nuance Group (Las Vegas), LLC, today announced the successful seven-year extension of its duty-free and duty-paid agreement with McCarran International Airport (LAS). As the sole operator of duty-free retail at LAS, the contract includes over 18,000 square feet in retail space, including a new 6,000 sq. ft. duty-free and duty-paid combination store, Las Vegas Dufry Shopping, in Terminal One D-Gates.

Dufry's organic growth continues to accelerate t o 7.2% in the first quarter of 2017

Turnover amounted to CHF 1,706.8 million in the first quarter of 2017, driven by organic growth, which accelerated further and reached 7.2%. Supported by synergies from the World Duty Free (WDF) acquisition, gross profit margin further improved to 59.6%. EBITDA increased to CHF 154.7 million, while EBITDA margin expanded by 10 basis points to 9.1%.

The Ordinary General Meeting of Dufry AG was held at the Grandhotel “Les Trois Rois”, Blumenrain 8, 4001 Basel, Switzerland, on April 27, 2017 at 14.00 hrs. The meeting was validly convened and constituted and shareholders duly registered in the share register of the Company representing 37,354,371 shares and 69.34% of the total share capital of Dufry AG were represented at the meeting.
