Dufry do Brasil gets an international ISO 14001 Certification

The adoption of environmentally conscious strategies has become an increasingly relevant practice within the corporate segment. In this context, Dufry do Brasil has successfully obtained, through its business in Guarulhos, São Paulo, the ISO 14001 certification, which is awarded to companies that have combine efficient operations with careful management of its environmental impacts.
Through the implementation of several initiatives, coordinated by an Environmental Management Committee and with the support from Dufry´s employees, the Company was able to change practices and processes in order to reduce the environmental impact from its operation. Among the most relevant actions, we can highlight the construction of a groundwater treatment facility, the optimization of the water and energy consumption and the creation of specific containers for waste collection.
