Avolta opens its first F&B store in Brazil, celebrates a new three-year contract with Aena Brasil at São Paulo/Congonhas Airport

Leading global travel retail and F&B player Avolta AG (SIX: AVOL) announces the opening of its first F&B outlet in Brazil, as well as the expansion of its existing duty paid space at São Paulo/Congonhas airport, to a total floor space of nearly 1,100 m2.

The new contract win includes a 606 mmain duty-paid walk-through store, the opening of a new 131 m2 duty paid store and a 334 m2 F&B outlet, Vista Corona, all located in the newly constructed area of the airport. Vista Corona will feature a full-service restaurant and a Grab & Go section, offering the full Corona experience, where people can escape their daily routine, reconnect with nature and enjoy great craft drinks, modern local food, and company.

With an investment of R$ 2.4 billion, Congonhas Airport will receive a new passenger terminal more than double the current size, new boarding bridges, and various improvements for operational efficiency. The airport will also feature 20,000 square meters dedicated to commercial areas. After the renovations, São Paulo will have a more comfortable, safe, eco-friendly, and spacious aerodrome for arrivals and departures.
